Sell Your Golf Clubs
for Cash in Ft. Lauderdale.
Bring drivers, irons, wedges, putters, or a full set to Techy on SW 4th Ave. The team inspects shafts, faces, and grips in-store and calls you back with the offer the same day.
What you can sell in the golf clubs category
Premium and mid-range drivers, irons, wedges, and putters from the brands that hold real resale value. Working clubs with normal play wear are welcome. Cracked heads, broken shafts, or counterfeit clubs are not accepted.
Drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids
Current and last-gen drivers move fastest. Older heads still draw offers when grips and faces are clean.
Iron sets, single irons, and wedges
Player irons, game-improvement sets, and the wedge brands with active grooves resale.
Premium putters and complete sets
Scotty Cameron and Odyssey carry the strongest single-club resale. Full bag sales welcome too.
What the team checks on your clubs
Same inspection runs on every driver, iron, wedge, and putter before an offer is made.
Model, year & specs
Head model confirmed against the sole stamp and serial. Loft and lie noted on irons. Shaft brand, flex, and weight identified (stock vs aftermarket matters a lot: a Ventus Black or Tensei AV Raw shaft can be worth more than the head). Length measured against standard.
Face, groove & sole wear
Driver and fairway faces checked for cracks, deep sky marks, and impact patterns near the heel or toe. Iron grooves measured for wear: shallow grooves drop the offer, fresh grooves hold it. Wedge faces inspected for face wear and any obvious face milling.
Shafts, hosels & ferrules
Shafts sighted down for straightness, checked at the hosel for cracks or epoxy splits. Adjustable hosel mechanisms (TaylorMade, Titleist SureFit, Callaway OptiFit) cycled through settings. Counterweight ports and stock weights confirmed on Ping and Cobra heads.
Authentication & grips
Scotty Cameron putters, tour issue and circle T pieces, and high-value drivers verified against the manufacturer's serial database when applicable. Grips inspected for wear, slickness, and brand match. Bag and headcover inclusion noted.
Before you bring your clubs in
A little prep keeps the bench check moving.
Clean each clubhead
Wipe the face, sole, and grooves. A clean iron face shows true groove depth and bumps the offer. Take a damp cloth to driver and fairway crowns to remove sky-mark debris that can look worse than it is.
Note shafts and adapter settings
Stock vs aftermarket shaft matters. If you upgraded to a Ventus, Tensei, HZRDUS, or Mitsubishi shaft, note that. For adjustable drivers, jot down current loft and lie settings so the team can verify the adapter cycles through cleanly.
Bring headcovers and the bag
Original headcovers, especially Scotty Cameron and Odyssey covers, factor into the offer. Bringing the bag the clubs live in is helpful too: stand bags from Sun Mountain, Ping, and TaylorMade carry their own resale value.
Bring your ID
Government-issued photo ID is required for any resale transaction in Florida. Driver's license, state ID, or passport works. Original receipts and pro-shop fitting paperwork are nice but not required.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about selling drivers, irons, wedges, and putters in Ft. Lauderdale.
What brands of golf clubs do you buy?
Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping, Cobra, Mizuno, Cleveland, Srixon, Wilson Staff, Tour Edge, PXG, and Honma. For putters, Scotty Cameron, Odyssey, Bettinardi, L.A.B. Golf, and Evnroll get the strongest offers. Older Hogan, MacGregor, and vintage Wilson Staff sets are welcome but priced as playable or collector pieces case by case.
Do you buy individual clubs or only full sets?
Both. A single Scotty Cameron putter, one TaylorMade Qi35 driver, a Vokey wedge by itself, all welcome. Full sets and complete bags are easier to price as a group and usually move at a stronger combined number than individual clubs sold separately.
Does the shaft matter? I put an aftermarket shaft in my driver.
Yes, a lot. Premium aftermarket shafts (Fujikura Ventus, Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw or Diamana, Project X HZRDUS Smoke, Graphite Design Tour AD) can be worth more than the head itself. Bring the original stock shaft if you still have it, and the team will price the best configuration.
How do you authenticate Scotty Cameron and tour issue clubs?
Scotty Cameron putters get serial number and stamping verification. Tour issue heads, Circle T pieces, and limited-edition releases are cross-checked against known production records and current tour sightings. Counterfeit Scottys are common online; the team checks every high-value piece before pricing.
What condition do clubs need to be in?
Working clubs with normal play wear are welcome. Sky marks on driver crowns, groove wear on irons and wedges, scuffs on putter soles, faded grips, paint chips on iron sets, all fine. Clubs with cracked heads, broken or rattling shafts, snapped hosels, or shafts that won't separate from the head are not accepted.
Do you take complete bag setups (driver, irons, wedges, putter, bag)?
Yes. Bring the whole bag if you want one offer for the lot. The team prices each playable club, the bag itself (Sun Mountain, Ping, Titleist, TaylorMade stand and cart bags carry resale value), and any headcovers as a single package. Mixed-brand bags are fine.
How do you price clubs?
Recent eBay sold comps for that exact model, shaft, and condition. PGA Value Guide cross-checked for current trade-in benchmarks. Scotty Cameron pricing also references the current Putter Lab and Cameron collector market. Final offer reflects condition, shaft, grip status, and how fast that model moves locally.
Do you take women's clubs and junior sets?
Yes. Women's Callaway Reva, TaylorMade Kalea, Ping G Le, Cobra Fly XL Lady, Wilson Staff women's sets. Junior sets from US Kids Golf, Callaway XJ, Wilson Pro Staff Junior, and PING Prodi G. Light hitter and senior flex sets included.
How long does the appraisal take?
For a single driver or putter, the team can usually price it on the counter in 15 to 20 minutes. A full set or complete bag goes on the drop-off track with a same-day callback if you arrive before 4pm. The team needs a few minutes per club for shaft, face, and groove inspection.
Old set to cash, same-day.
Bring your driver, irons, wedges, putter, or full bag plus a photo ID. Open Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6pm. Closed weekends.
