Which cameras, drones, and optics we take

Mirrorless and DSLR bodies
Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, and Panasonic mirrorless. Plus the older Canon and Nikon DSLR lines.
GoPro, Insta360, and the DJI lineup
Every GoPro HERO and Insta360 360 cam, plus the full DJI consumer drone range. Older Phantom and Mavic Pro models from the secondhand market too.
Glass, stabilizers, telescopes, and binoculars
Camera lenses across every mount, motorized gimbals, plus telescopes and premium binoculars.
What the team checks on your camera or drone
The same inspection runs on every body, lens, and drone before an offer is made.
Model, serial & shutter count
Body model is confirmed against the menu and serial plate. For cameras, shutter actuation count is pulled (bodies with higher counts are still buyable, just priced for it). For drones, the serial is checked against the DJI registry for clean history.
Sensor, shutter & lens glass
Sensor inspected under light for dust, scratches, oil specks, and dead pixels. Shutter fires across speeds. Lens elements checked for haze, internal separation, scratches, and marks on the front element. Aperture blades open and close cleanly.
Drone gimbal, motors & props
For drones, the team powers the aircraft, runs a hover check, and tests gimbal stabilization through the full range of motion. Motors spin clean, props are inspected for cracks, and the controller pairs without issue.
Account, registration & firmware
DJI Fly account unlinked from drones, GoPro account removed, manufacturer apps (Sony Creators, Canon Camera Connect, Nikon SnapBridge) signed out. Memory cards formatted. Firmware confirmed at a known-good revision.
Before you bring your camera or drone in
Ten minutes of prep keeps the appointment quick.
Offload photos & videos
Copy every keeper to an external SSD or cloud (iCloud, Lightroom, Google Photos, Frame.io). Then format the memory card in-camera. The team wipes the storage on intake; nothing should be left you'd miss.
Sign out of camera & drone apps
DJI Fly app: unlink the aircraft from your account. GoPro Quik: sign out. Sony Creators' App, Canon Camera Connect, Nikon SnapBridge: remove the device. Unbinds the gear for the next owner.
Gather batteries, cables & box
For cameras: body cap, lens, charger, every battery you own, original strap. For drones: aircraft, controller, all batteries, props, charging hub. Original boxes and papers help the offer; not required.
Bring your ID
Government-issued photo ID is required for any electronics resale in Florida. Driver's license, state ID, or passport works. Original purchase receipt is nice but optional.

Do you take DJI drones and other consumer drones?
Yes. Every consumer DJI: Mavic 4 Pro, Mavic 3 Pro and Cine, Air 3S, Air 3, Mini 5 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Avata 360, Avata 3, Avata 2, Neo 2, Flip. Plus Autel EVO Lite and Nano, and older Phantom 4 and Mavic Pro from the secondhand market.
What condition does my camera or drone need to be in?
It needs to be working. Light cosmetic wear, scuffs, small scratches, missing front caps, and normal aging from years of use are all fine. Cameras and drones that won't power on, have major impact damage, or have lenses that won't focus aren't accepted in this category. If you're not sure, bring it in and the team can take a look.
What about camera lenses without a body?
Yes. Sony FE and E-mount, Canon RF and EF, Nikon Z and F, Fujifilm X-mount, plus third-party Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, and Samyang. L-mount Panasonic and Sigma also welcome. Lenses are quoted in person since condition varies a lot from one piece of glass to the next.
Do you take telescopes and binoculars?
Yes. Celestron NexStar and EdgeHD, Sky-Watcher, Meade, Orion telescopes. Nikon, Vortex, Bushnell, Swarovski, and Leica binoculars and rangefinders. Bring original eyepieces, mount adapters, and the tripod if you have one.
How much will I get for my camera or drone?
Depends on the body, lens, drone model, and condition. Common models can be quoted through the online tool above. Specialty gear (cinema lenses, medium-format, broadcast bodies) and most lenses get tested on the bench, with a callback by end of day if you arrive before 4pm.
How long does the appraisal take?
For a single camera body with one lens, the team can do a bench check in 15 to 20 minutes. The body gets booted, the sensor inspected under a light, the shutter fired across speeds, and lens elements reviewed. For drones: motor and gimbal test plus a quick controller pair. Larger kits and specialty gear go on the drop-off track with a same-day callback if you arrive before 4pm.
Old camera to cash, same-day.
Bring your camera body, drone, or optics plus an ID and 20 minutes. Open Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6pm. Closed weekends.
